Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account information: name, email address, password (handled by Firebase Auth), and profile photo.
• Professional profile information: specialty and professional level.
• Country (if you provide it in your profile).
• User-generated content: chat messages, group information, images, videos, and files you upload in chats.
• Support inputs: any text or clinical symptoms you enter into the Smart DDX tool or similar features.

Information collected automatically

• Device identifiers and app instance identifiers (e.g., Firebase/FCM token) used to deliver push notifications.
• Usage and technical data necessary to operate the App (for example, basic logs from Firebase services).

Purchases and subscriptions

• If you purchase a subscription, transaction data and entitlement status are processed by Google Play and RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

How We Use Information

We use your information to:

• Create and authenticate your account.
• Provide core app features (profile, chat, group management, file and media sharing).
• Store and retrieve content you create (messages, files, profile photo).
• Deliver notifications you opt in to receive.
• Provide AI-assisted features (such as diagnostic support) based on your inputs.
• Process subscriptions and manage entitlements.
• Improve app stability and performance.

Sharing and Disclosure

We share information with service providers that help us operate the App:

• Firebase (Google LLC) for authentication, database storage (Firestore), file storage (Firebase Storage), and push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging).
• Google Sign-In to let you sign in using your Google account.
• Google Generative AI to process the text you submit to AI features (for example, symptoms in the Smart DDX tool).
• RevenueCat and Google Play Billing for subscription management and purchase processing.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Data Storage and Retention

• Your account data, profile information, and user-generated content are stored in Firebase services.
• We retain data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App.
• If you request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your data where possible, subject to legal or operational requirements.

Permissions and Optional Features

The App may request the following permissions based on features you use:

• Camera and Photos: to capture or upload profile photos or share media in chats.
• Files/Storage: to upload documents or other files in chats.
• Notifications: to send push notifications.

You can disable these permissions in device settings, but some features may not work.

Your Choices and Rights

• You can update your profile information in the App.
• You can sign out or reset your password using the App.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. Data is transmitted using secure connections (HTTPS/TLS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the effective date at the top when changes are made.
